Ski Odgen
The city of Ogden serves as the lodging and apres-ski base for Snowbasin, Wolf Creek
and Powder Mountain ski resorts.
Snowbasin - Snowbasin is a world-class resort located within an hour of Salt Lake City, Park City and Ogden. Lift lines are rare with two high-speed gondolas and a tram to provide access 3,000 acres and 3,000 vertical feet of skiing. The terrain ranges from beginner slopes to powder cirques, long groomers and natural and man-made halfpipes. Snowbasin features fine dining in spectacular mountaintop lodges and 26 miles of groomed Nordic trails. Private lessons, equipment rental and licensed day care are available in the Grizzly Center. Snowbasin has hosted the Dew Tour Winter Games and the 2002 Olympic Downhill events.
Powder Mountain - 5,500 acres covering three mountains adds up to the most skiable terrain in the US. With this much space, you won't share any of the 86 runs with a crowd. Only Mother Nature makes snow at Powder Mountain. With 500 inches each year, why bother with artificial snow? Besides great powder, real snow makes beautifully groomed corduroy. Find out why we say More Fun, Real Snow! We are renowned for untracked powder, but a large variety of runs are groomed nightly so that every level of boarder and skier joins in the fun.
Wolf Creek - This is the best learning and least expensive resort in Utah. New ownership made significant improvements in the day lodge, parking, snowmaking and grooming. It is the largest night skiing resort in Utah.
