Barbara Prypchan

SkiTops feels the loss of Barbara Prypchan, one of the pioneer ski tour operators in the United States. She passed away Friday November 29, 2002 after a long battle with cancer.
Barb was the owner of Bay Point Travel, which she purchased in 1974. After 27 successful years, Bay Point Travel merged with Alpine Adventures in the summer of 2002.
Barb will be remembered for her incredible energy, personality and her impeccable reputation in the ski world. Her knowledge and leadership were instrumental in the highly successful area of group and individual ski travel. She will live on in all of the lives that she has touched. Next time all of you are on the slopes dedicate a run in her honor.
