Whether it's Tod Mountain's open bowls, Sundance's perfectly groomed cruisers or Morrisey's glades, we've got terrain to suit your ability level and mood!

Then there's our village - slopeside, ski-in, ski-out accommodations, restaurants, shops in a clustered village lay out at the base of the mountains. Top it off with some absolutely outstanding weather. Sun Peaks boasts some of the best winter conditions in Canada, with mild temperatures, fine dry snow, abundant blue skies and over 2000 hours of sunshine a year.

Sun Peaks is a convenient place to spend a week or two and easily linked with Whistler, Silver Star and Big White.

    Air Service to Resort:

    Air Canada flies into Kamloops from Vancouver and Calgary.
    Horizon Air flies into Kamloops from Seattle.

    Other Transportation Options:

    Shuttle service to and from Kamloops Airport and Kamloops Greyhound to Sun Peaks.
    Shuttle service to and from Big White, Silver Star and Whistler.

    Common Misperceptions:

    People don't realize that we are the 3rd largest skiable area in Canada.

    More places to go and things to do as far as dining and shopping, the largest variety of any boutique resort in Western Canada.

    Temperature: Sun Peaks is in the same weather pattern as Colorado, only the elevation in Sun Peaks is lower which means warmer temperatures. Average February temperature is 21F and -6.1C.

    Top Selling Points:

    1. All accommodation and amenities are on the mountain, within walking or skiing distance.

    2. There is a green, blue and black run from the top of every chair lift, so you can go up with friends of different ability levels and ski down the trail of your choice.

    3. Most trails bring you right back into the village centre, so it's difficult to get lost.

    Groups & individual travelers looking for a quality winter recreation experience not compromised by long lift line-ups, crowded slopes, inconsistent weather or limited apres ski options. Family-friendly, not suitable for 'glitz and glamour' seekers.

    Restaurants for everyone's pocket book. Torchlight fondue, Mackdaddies Night Club, Snowshoe fondue, martini's and mountain platter at Mantle's Bar, fresh pasta at Baggio's. Sunburst Lodge's sticky buns, coffee at Bolacco's.

    Cross country skiing, cat skiing, dog sledding, snowmobiling, cat trax, first trax, torchlight fondue, snowshoe fondue, snowshoeing, sleigh rides, skating, swimming, tubing, toboganning, family casino night, Sunday night welcome receptions.
