Sierra-at-Tahoe is one of the best mountains in Tahoe. Great terrain, some of the best snow you'll find anywhere, a new super pipe soon to be constructed and three high-speed quads that will make sure you can cover all of our mountain, quick and smart. Whether you are from right here in the area or traveled from afar it is easy to see why Sierra is your home away from home, a place to just chill.
Air Service to Resort:
Reno is the cloeset major airport. Sierra has no lodging on hill, but is only 12 miles southwest of the major bed base at south Lake Tahoe. Non-stop service is available from Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Denver, Phoenix, Los Angeles, Portland, Seattle, San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, Salt Lake City and soon to come San Diego.

Common Misperceptions:
Sierra at Tahoe is too far away from Heavenly. (We are only 20 minutes by shuttle from almost anywhere in south Lake Tahoe, closer than any other resort to the south shore properties.)
Too Crowded.
If we ever have lift lines it's on a Saturday or Sunday morning, the same as ANY other drive market resort in Lake Tahoe, Utah or the Colorado front range.
