    The mountain scenery is beautiful but the reason you're here is to turn it all into a multi-colored blur while descending down Schweitzer's 2,400 vertical feet over. From the top you'll enjoy the variety of fun and challenging terrain Schweitzer Mountain's contours offer while carving your tracks through our over 2,500 skiable acres and 59 designated runs. Then return to the top quickly thanks in part to Stella. Stella, as you will soon discover, is Idaho's only six-person high-speed lift.

    Spokane International Airport is the closest airport, roughly an hour and a half from Spokane to Sandpoint.
