Getting to Crested Butte next winter just got a whole lot easier. Ski season will see the addition of air service to Gunnison / Crested Butte Regional Airport via three new cities (Salt Lake City, Chicago and Atlanta) and an additional carrier (Delta Air Lines). GUC is now served via direct service from 5 major cities on 3 major carriers with connections world-wide. Daily on United from Denver, American from Dallas/Ft Worth and Delta Air Lines from Salt Lake City. Saturday flights from Atlanta on Delta Air Lines and Chicago O'Hare on American Airlines.
Other Transportation Options:
Crested Butte is located 230 miles south and west of Denver, CO. The drive takes about four hours. From Denver take 285 south to 50 west to 135 north to Crested Butte. Alternate airports include Montrose, CO and Grand Junction, CO.

Crested Butte Mountain Resort has several new things going on at the resort this year: The new fixed grip quad at the base area called the West Wall lift, upgraded and improved snowmaking, the building of a new base village titled Mountaineer Square, a new on-mountain demo center, and better grooming capabilities just to name few. Also, the resort will offer 3 terrain parks and on-hill tubing.
